There is a conversion company out there that does these. In fact I'm pretty sure I made a post about them, but I'm too lazy to look for it.

Rabbit pickup. I'm not sure if they sold it anywhere else other than the US but I only remember if from TGUSA.

So apparently it was called the Caddy in Europe and a Rabbit pickup everywhere else. I've seen a few builds of them and they're pretty cool.
